Kyle Fire Department Career Position

• Must be at least 21 years of age at time of application deadline. 
• Must be a citizen of the United States. 
• Must have a valid Social Security Card
• Must No previous felony convictions
•  

• Must possess a valid Classs "C" Texas driver's license and be eligible to obtain a Class "B" license.
• Must be certified through Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a Firefighter Baisc or higher . 
• Must be certified, or certifiable, through Texas Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician or higher.
• All of these licenses and/or certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
   

 SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $34,320.00  + differentials for various advanced certifications
• Health/Dental/Prescription Medication Insurance: TML
• Retirement: 403b Retirement Plan after 90 days of employment
• Paid Life Insurance: $50,000.00
• Vacation and Sick Leave: PTO
• Uniforms: $600.00 annual allowance
